He earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Birla Engineering College at Sardel Patel University in India and in his early days of Globetrotters Engineering, Niranjan Shah Chicago came to the United States in 1970 and obtained a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Mississippi. This education has changed his life and brought a great confidence and knowledge to do something the best.

For Mr. Shah, Chicago became home in 1972 and soon thereafter Niranjan Shah established Globetrotters Engineering Corporation in 1974. The company’s first office was on the south side of Chicago, where the Niranjan Shah as its only full-time employee. Over the years the Globetrotters organization has grown very well to employ over 200 professional and technical personnel, hence it was become one of the preeminent engineering, architectural and facility management firms in the United States. This was the biggest achievement for Mr. Shah, where he has started from the basics and now his company is counted on the top class companies in the world. He is a fellow of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and in 2006, he received the Ellis Island Medal of Honor, which recognizes leaders of foreign backgrounds who make significant contributions to the US.
