DELTA NEW HIGH PERFORMANCE FANS: COMPLETELY REDESIGNED FOR THE LATEST GENERATION SERVER ARCHITECTURE AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS POWER MODULES
Developing at ever
increasing speeds, enterprise server processors and associated technology
continue to increase power density and performance. Oftentimes this comes with
an associated increase in demand for power and heat dissipation. Delta, working
closely with the industry, has created a new high performance fan series by reevaluating
and simulating every functional component of its fan to find and improve all
areas of functionality. This leads to improvements across the board in
efficiency, vibration, speed, noise reduction, resonance, and safety. This is
coupled with smart sensing technology to further increase the ability of the
fan series and protect the costly components these new high performance fans are deployed to
thermally manage. With the Intel Whitley platform, 300W+ and higher TDP can be
expected. To manage
this high wattage and high heat application, the new Delta high performance fan introduces fan speeds
greater than 30,000 RPM while maintaining or reducing power consumption over
prior generation fans, the output static pressure can reach to 9.73 inH20.
With a focus on
longevity, Delta has integrated a new smart communication design into this new high performance fan series. This fan builds
in anti-reverse function in fail mode which can reduce the system reverse air
flow loss.
Benefits
of Delta New High Performance Fans:
Highest speed fans
with greater than 30,000 RPM and the output static pressure can reach to
9.73 inH20.
Increased
performance with higher power efficiency to maintain or reduce power
requirements
Redesigned impeller
to increase air flow rate and improve blade efficiency
New resin utilized
for the fan frame for higher flexural modulus to
reduce fan vibration
Smart system design
